ANDRE NICKATINA
REIMAGINED

The event called for a defining visual element from the exterior entrance to the interior of the main hall.

An attraction that reflected the look and feel of the music while playing to the unique architecture of the legendary Herbst Theatre.

By leveraging our deep bag of technical skills and artistic abilities our team was able to realize a truly incredible experience through the creative application of 3D projection mapping.

THE EXPERIENCE

From the exterior entrance to the interior of the main hall the projections elevated the visual presence of the entire event.

As concert goers arrived the exterior visuals set the bar for the level of event that was about to unfold.

Massive and clearly vibrant projections stated the artist and the occasion while engaging facets of the architecture in precise ways. This spectacle became extremely photogenic for those entering or even just driving by.

Inside the main hall the visuals were synchronized and styled to reflect the nature of each score while playing off of the rich architecture of the venue.

THE SYSTEM

The event called for a projection mapping system able to thrive both indoors and out.

Every project starts with the space and after detailed measurements and light readings a selection of high powered laser projectors were chosen to ensure the projections were vibrant and engaging throughout.

For the outside our team deployed a temporary setup that elevated the projectors above the heads of those walking by while securing the electronics from the elements and the occasional wry seagull.

Inside the theatre we worked with the venue staff to mount and secure the projectors to the balcony for a pixel perfect position from which to map the interior screen and proscenium.

By utilizing the latest projector technologies alongside industrial grade computers we could be absolutely sure the show would go off without a hitch to become the smash hit that it was!

THE CONTENT

From inside to out the visual content was 100% original and fitted to the venue.

Our content creation process employs multiple rounds of client review and approval to ensure everything looks and feels exactly as imagined.

Inside the visuals were synchronized with each of the 14 orchestral scores so that every melody had a matching visual component.

On the exterior a series of looks were developed to be immediately eye catching at any moment. These looks also underscored who was performing and what the event was for all to see with clear eye level text.

Overall the content was on point and well developed which provided a defining look for the entire event.
