PROJECTION MAPPING

The Engine Shop Agency was looking to elevate their upcoming four-course dining experience at Knife House with Chef Richard Blais in Palm Springs, CA.

For this Lumenarius custom designed, built, and programmed themed table top video projections specially suited for each course and plate.

THE EXPERIENCE

From start to finish the entire show flowed from one scene to the next as the Chef Blais came out to speak about each course while the visuals unfolded on the table.

THE SYSTEM

The projectors and structure needed to blend in while fitting in the room perfectly and setting up easily.

Using a blend of custom structure and white everything a sturdy system to secure the overhead projectors to was created which setup in mere hours.

Behind the scenes our field proven Lumen Servers pushed synchronized pixels to over x12 projectors at once from a single control station as the Engine Team called the show over radio.

THE CONTENT

The content was custom created to highlight the ingredients and theme of each course while matching the exact plate placement.

The final result was a video with matching audio for each section of the show: walk in, course speech, course meal, course transition, and finale.
