THE HERALD
The Herald is an icon of the Bellingham skyline.
The addition of a permanent 3D projection mapping system on the south side made it glow even that much brighter.
THE EXPERIENCE
Larger than life projections play with the architecture in a way that is magical, modern, yet sincerely Bellingham.
The projection show can be seen for miles and are easily viewable from many sidewalks, shops, breweries, and central squares in the city.

THE SYSTEM
With the Herald there are 5 stories and a 100’ wide facade that act as a spectacular canvas to light up the downtown space with.
The show is driven by an integrated computer which allows anytime remote access and monitoring to check in on the show.
All enclosures are built to withstand the elements of the Pacific Northwest from rain, sleet, snow, sunshine, to the occasional rogue seagull.
THE CONTENT
Bellingham is creative and outdoor oriented community. With that in mind a certain analog artistic touch was necessary.
To achieve this effect over 2 hours of 100% unique visual content was rendered covering everything from falling snowflakes colliding with windows, to handmade stop motion animations, super Saturday TRON themed sections, and quite a few special looks for various holidays.
