BOISE DEPOT 100TH ANNIVERSARY
A celebration of the civic history with a vision for the future visible for miles.
For the 100th anniversary of the iconic Boise Depot the Boise City Department of Arts & History was looking to elevate the spectacle to the highest level.
To achieve this our team identified the best parts of the building to transform using the art of projection mapping.
For one full week Lumenarius worked alongside Boise artists Annika Kalac and Will Miller to deliver a visual experience open to all.
“A million thanks for your incredible services over the course of this project and especially these last few nights. You’ve been great to work with and I know the artists really appreciated your guidance and expertise!”

Stop motion collage meets the future of transportation.
For this project the City of Boise sought to work with Boise based visual artists and a public call for applications was made.
After assisting in the review of applicants it was clear that Will Miller and Annika Kalac were the right duo to create the art for the projections.
The work was titled, “Voyaging: In Defense of Slow Travel” which comprised 4 unique visuals, animated by hand using local historical media, perfectly fit to the architecture of the Boise Depot.
SYSTEM
Bright enough to be a beacon of light for miles.
To truly bring this architecture into the next century our team selected the best in DLP laser video projection.
By blending and mapping multiple state of the art laser projectors the visuals were fit perfectly to the building with spell binding brightness and a rich spectrum of color to fully showcase the incredible art.
