TREEFORT MUSIC FEST BANDSHELL

Projection mapping is a perfect visual compliment to any live concert.

At the Treefort Music Fest in Boise, ID the famous Gene Harris Bandshell Stage was in need of a fresh angle for lighting.

Immediately we saw the architecture of the stage, with the plain white features and half dome encompassing the stage, as a perfect canvas for projection mapped visuals.

We took this to the next level with custom content created to fit the exact layout of the stage mixed live to the beat for each of the 3 nights of live shows.

โ€œWe absolutely want to adopt you.๐Ÿ˜ your visuals are the best weโ€™ve ever had the honor to play in front of! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ”Šโ€

CONTENT

When the visuals fit the building and pulse to the beat we reach another level.

Thatโ€™s exactly what we did for each of the 6 bands over the 3 nights of performances.

Surreal plants and colors washed over complex geometric patterns with a final touch of clouds, sun, and other Earthly textures for a signature style and look.

SYSTEM

A setup to properly illuminate the stage, define the visuals, while being mixed live; outdoors.

To ensure the performers were visible at all times we went for an insanely bright 3DLP laser video projector in an all weather enclosure.

With this proper amount of light a state of the art resolution was chosen to ensure even those closest to the stage had a defined view.

To control the show we dug deep in the crates to unearth classic Lumenarius VJ mixing software and visuals to keep it all on beat.
